Medical Information

Glossary – This list has been developed by the network to help to explain the meaning of words used in vision reports.

The medical information documents below were originally developed for VIScotland.  Each document describes aspects of a condition in plain language – although not every possibility can always be covered. This information does not provide a diagnosis and is not a substitute for a consultation with a health professional. It is intended to provide information to support children and families in understanding their condition, how best to manage it and know what treatments and support may be available.
